360 Video

What is a 360 Video?

I've always been into VR, and that's one of the main reasons I love 360° videos. Playing in VR makes me feel like I'm really inside the action, and 360° videos give me the same kind of immersive experience even when I'm just watching. I especially love 360° videos of sports because I can look around the stadium, follow the players, and catch every moment from any angle I want.

360° videos capture everything around the camera front, back, left, right, up, and down. Unlike normal videos, I don't have to watch a fixed frame. I can drag the screen, move my phone, or use my VR headset to look wherever I want. It feels like I'm standing right there, in the middle of the scene.

I've noticed that everyone watches differently. Casual viewers on phones or laptops usually scroll fast and watch only a few seconds. They focus on what's right in front of them.

Mobile explorers love moving their phones to explore the full scene.

VR headset users like me get fully immersed and notice even the smallest details. Smooth camera movement, high-quality visuals, and good sound make a huge difference for us.

My 360 green screen video

I think my 360 video project came out quite fun and interesting. I put it in space and added different memes around the screen, which makes it more enjoyable to watch. I liked adding the “wow” guy at the end inside the camera screen, and also the spinning hot dog and the CS: GO character.

The best part of my project was how the memes appear around the viewer in 360, so you have to look around to see everything. This makes it different from a normal video. I also think the space background helped the memes stand out. These are the files I used for the video:

To make this, I used Ultra Key in Premiere Pro to remove the green screen from the clips. Then I used rotation, scale, and position to move and place the memes where I wanted them. I also worked on the timing so they show up at the right moments.

To improve, I could make the transitions smoother and maybe add better sound or more effects. I could also make some parts look more natural.

Overall, I am happy with my project because it is fun and shows what I can do in editing.

Green Screen Video

I created this as a practical mini project to learn how to use a green screen and the Ultra Key effect in Adobe Premiere Pro
I used a photo of a phone being held in a hand where the screen was filled with a green screen.
I imported the image along with FPV drone footage of mountains into Premiere Pro and placed them on the timeline.
Using Ultra Key, I removed the green colour from the phone screen so it became transparent. I then positioned the drone footage underneath the photo layer so the video appeared inside the phone display.
After that, I adjusted the scale, position, and colour to make the footage look natural and match the perspective of the phone.
This project helped me understand how green screen keying works and how Ultra Key can be used to realistically replace screens in editing.
